Closed on 5 April 1937, the platforms of Schoolhill Station survived for many years and are pictured in 1978. Access to the platforms was from the street above, where a booking office was provided but this had been partially demolished by the time of this photograph - you can see the remnants of the lower section of the building immediately behind the viaduct nextto the platform. All trace of Schoolhill Station has since disappeared, presumably a result of the construction of the Denburn dual carriageway.
