Taken from the coaling stage in 1987, this view shows the scrap diesel multiple units which were at Aberdeen Ferryhill Engine Shed in 1987 for overhaul. A Class 47 passes with a push-pull set of Mark 2 coaching stock. Note how the rails for the coaling stage siding survived intact in 1987, and are still in place today (though out of use since 1967).
