A rare view of Kittybrewster South Signal Box, taken in mid-1975. The branch to Aberdeen Waterloo can be seen curving away behind the signal box, which had been derelict for a number of years when this photo was taken. Presumably the signal box was closed when dual track between Aberdeen Joint Station and Dyce Station

Kittybrewster South signal box was based on the standard GNSR design, and was one of three "tall" signal boxes on GNSR lines - the others being Kittybrewster North, and Dyce, the only signal box which survives today.
