A number of engine sheds were sited at other locations in the Aberdeenshire area, but as they did not play as important roles as the three locations featured above, they are outwith the remit of the site at present.
Engine sheds were sited at : Ballater, Banchory, Fraserburgh, Peterhead, Boddam, Macduff, Alford, Keith, Elgin & Boat of Garten.
