How Display.cgi Works

There are two ways to make this script work:

1. The first way is more common. In this method, you put the display information in the URL. The URL should be of the format:
   http://yourdomain.com/yourdirectory/display.cgi?game=game&show=scores_to_display&sort=field_to_sort_by&order=ascending_or_descending&type=normal_or_all-time&searchfield=search_string
   The fields can go in any order. This probably looks complicated, but it isn't. Here's my Magic Table o' Clarification™:
   

   Field Name	What to enter	What happens when the field is omitted
   game	The name of the game for which you want the scores to be displayed	This is determined in the Universal Settings
   show	The scores you want to be displayed; use the format first score-last score	This is determined in the normal settings
   sort	The name of the field by which you want to sort the scores being displayed	The script sorts by the first field
   order	The direction by which you want to sort (ascending or descending); the script only looks at the first letter of what you enter, so an "a" or a "d" will suffice	The script sorts the field descendingly
   type	Which scores to display, normal or all-time; the script only looks at the first letter of what you eneter, so an "a" or an "n" will suffice	The script display the normal scores
   searchfield	The search to perform on field	No search is performed

2. The second way of working the script is to send it the data via a form. The data that you can submit is listed in the table above. Submitted form data automiatically overrides data in the URL.
