Firebell orginally began in 1996, when two good friends, Nathan Yam, and Remy Saville, needed to come up with a name for their team for the "Enix Worldwide Game Competition". The name was originally going to be "Firebelly" but was soon shortened to "Firebell". Our game contest entry never made it to Japan, it was lost in the mail. The game was a very early version of Dream Quest. After the compo Nathan Yam completely restarted on Dream Quest and it became one of Firebell's first projects.

What happened to ya Erik? Once a valuable member of the team, Erik has seemed to have disapeared off the face of the earth... he's a really nice guy though, even offered to send me his copy of FF2 =). Erik was critical in the beginning developement of DWPC, made the best maps I've ever seen, including the infamous "lamarah" which only a very few eLiTE people from the EMU scene have tried out.
