Okay, it's not an ordinary name. It's kind of a silly name, actually... My father used to call me "Gutza" when I was a little kid. My actual name is Bogdan Stancescu, but I worked for a post-production company (Video Vision International) and the username "bogdan" was already taken by another guy... And I found it pretty stupid to have a username something like "bogdanS" as we were only five people using that network. Plus I was new so they didn't have time to come up with any nickname... So I remembered about "Gutza"... And that's how I was also called like in the building, because there were four of us named Bogdan - very imaginative of our parents, huh? And that's the name some people started to know me by. And as I only have this site for fun, why shouldn't I use this name? Huh?
Now, you must be curious how does this name sound in Romanian. Well, I've hot a sound sample for you, the curious kind, waiting to be listened. Here we go! It's a WAV file... Sorry about the quality - I don't think you could get a worse mic than mine anywhere on this planet. Well, except for a broke one, I'll admit. Still, the broke one must worth something.
The problem with this name is that it sounds quite petty. Moreover, it sounds a lot like "putza", which means "little penis" in Romanian. So, after getting this nickname, I entered a chat room in Romania. And I used "Gutza" as username. They all said "hi, putza!". I told them I'm no "putza" with them, and they apologized, saying they mistaken me for a guy that actually used the username "putza". That's all they spoke to me that day. The next day was even worse: they didn't even say hallo. Well, I told you the name is petty. So I used a different username: "coplesitorul". Which translates "the overwhelmer". And they all started talking to me.
