MANY CONGRATULATIONS MUST ALSO GO TO NASH FOR HIS PRODUCING, NOT ONLY DID HE PRODUCE KASEY'S ALBUM 'THE CAPTAIN', BUT ALSO THE ALBUM BY 'THE SPARNETTS' WHICH WON A GOLDEN GUITAR IN THE VOCAL DUO OR GROUP CATEGORY.
WELL DONE TO BOTH OF YOU

The Dead Ringer Band started life many years ago in a sleepy little fishing village in the South East of South Australia with Di & Bill playing a bit of music with a couple of friends. Believe it or not, Nash showed no interest in playing with the band and Kasey was just a shy little girl with an amazing voice.
Over time they decided this was what they wanted to do. They sold the fish shop and headed off around the country playing music.
Most of you would know that from that point they went from strength to strength, winning countless awards along the way including Golden Guitars, Mo awards and an ARIA.
Kasey decides it is time for a change and finally records her much anticipated debut solo album 'The Captain' which has received rave reviews from a cross section of musical writers.
The year just got better and better. Kasey won an ARIA award for Best Country Release and also received a nomination in the best female vocal category. More recently another two awards came at the Tamworth Country Music Awards where Kasey received Golden Guitars in both the Album Of The Year and Female Vocalist Of The Year categories. An exceptional effort in anyone's language but even better when you remember this is a debut album written by Kasey, with a little bit of help.

Kasey's debut album 'The Captain' out now on EMI
Much of the credit for the success of Kasey's solo career must go to Nash for the hours of work he puts in behind the scenes. Well done.
