Games  The act of doing something usually for entertainment rather than purpose.

Gardening   The act of growing and/or arranging plants for pleasure.

Gat   Diminutive for a gun.  Probably from Gatling gun.

Gesture  A movement, usually of the hand, that has a meaning. An act that has a minimal meaning.

Ghost  In theory, the spirit that is not part of the body of a living organism.  Not proven to exist.  However, there's probably enough empirical evidence to indicate that something that could be called a ghost exists, rarely.

Glory  A mostly indefinable state of standing either within society or as an individual feeling. Usually positive. Usually includes honor for a particular accomplishment.

Google  One of the largest internet search services.

Government   Usually considered to be a body of usually elected people who decide the rules by which a society lives.  And the group of hired people called a bureaucracy who interpret and enforce the rules created by the elected part of government.  Of the two groups, the bureaucracy probably has the most affect on society.  All government can be grossly intrusive.  I think good government should be invisible.  essay

Gremlin  A version of the little people, usually playing nasty tricks.  A weird little car.
