Nancy   A cartoon character.  Can be a descriptor of a homosexual male.

Nancy Drew   Principle character in a series of books.  Heroine for many young girls.  Fantasy date for many young boys.

Neat   A descriptive pejorative.  A shot of booze with nothing added.

Network  An interconnecting group of something. 2002 usage usually means a network of computers, though just about anything in inter-connected quantity could be considered a network.

Newsgroups   A method of intermittent, bandwidth saving communication over computer networks.  Usually NNTP protocol.  Has approximately 80,000 current groups in use.  Arranged into hierarchies by content.

N.I.D.S.  Network Intrusion Detection System

Night   Time of day when the sun's not in the sky.  Sometimes dark, sometimes very bright for the sun not being in the sky.

Nostrodamus   Russian con-man who made a lot of predictions, some of which came true.  Turned out to be hard to kill.

Nuns   Brides of Christ in the Catholic church.  Female Buddhists, as opposed to monks.  Can be an object of sexual fetish.
