Q weird letter that doesn't really seem to have any current reason for existence. The sound made by Q can be totally replicated by the letter K. Obviously at one point it sounded different, or it wouldn't exist (would have no reason to exist), but common English/American usage makes it identifiable only in the written form.

Quaker Oats Rolled oats. Has become the generic name for rolled oats, because the Quaker food company sells a lot of it. A stick-to-your-ribs kind of thing to eat at breakfast. Usually considered part of a "hearty" breakfast. Mostly in winter.
Queen Female leader, usually hereditary. Can be description of a male homosexual with feminine characteristics.
