Video Games   An insidious invention of the arcade industry to get all our quarters, or make us pay for the PC version, to do nothing but perform an essentially mindless action.

Varicose Veins  A painful extrusion of blood veins to the surface of the skin.

VHS   Video Home System. A type of system to store and read information on a magnetic tape streaming over a read/write head. Mostly used to distribute movies to the consumer.

VCR  Video Cassette Reader; Video Cassette Recorder. An electronic device to translate into readable format data on a (usually) VHS tape. Usually used to distribute movies.

Village, The  Where the agent Number 6 is relegated to when he wants to retire in the British TV series The Prisoner.  Cult Classic.

Village, The  A pornographic image series and web site started in the late 80s or early 90s.  Emblem was the old-fashioned big front wheel bicycle sometimes associated with a TV show called The Prisoner.  Notable for classification of the graphics in to areas such as B&D, Centerfold, etc.  All original images start with the letter(s) V or vlg.  Much distributed.

VPIC  One of the first DOS based graphics viewers.  Pretty good.
