War   A method by which groups of people resolve differences by means of violence. The bigger group usually wins.

Warfighter   A term used by DARPA in their request for proposals to describe soldiers.

Water  Primarily the compound H20. Cover about 70 percent of the surface of the earth. Supposedly, life cannot exist without it, primarily because humans haven't found any life without it. One would tend to reserve judgment since the only place we've ever been is here.

Weapon   Something that does harm to another or others. Another or others can be anything. Weapon can be anything.

Werewolf   Lycanthorpe. A supposedly fiction character that is a human endowed with the abilities of a wolf.

West Wing, The   One of the better evening TV shows. An idealized presidency is the subject.

Wet   The 'Vette gets 'em wet. The state of being moist.

Windows  Common name of a computer operating system sold by Microsoft. Pieces of glass that allow walls to be seen through, and let light in to enclosed areas.

Woman   One of the two sexes of the human species.

World Wide Web(WWW)(W3)  One of the most insidiously common forms of communicating with the computer (or computational device) devised so far.  You don't even need to own a computer.  All you need is access to the "computer network" (many public libraries) and you can find a free host and create your own World Wide Web site.  What you're probably currently looking at if you didn't print this out. essay
