Yarn   An interesting story. A piece of woven thread.

Yearn   To desire something with more emotion than logic.

Yellow   Color of a submarine in a beatles song.  How a coward is described.

Young   Something that for some reason most women want to be considered.  (Me, I want the experienced ones.)  Implies something is not very old in relationship to other things that are like it.  A relative descriptor.  Something that is thousands of years old might be considered young if it's "other" things exist for millions of years.
