EDITORS REPORT: CHARLOTTE SHOW STARTS SEASON WITH A BANG      I gotta tell ya I had my doubts. Unloading Friday I had to stop and put a battery in the truck, right there at the show, dead as a hammer, not often that happens to me with a good mechanic like Larry around. Then when the show started Saturday morning I could of napped til 10:AM, I wondered if I would ever make a sale. But from Ten til 1:30 I was as busy as could be. A feeding frenzy of buyers that was non-stop. I did as well in 3 ½ hours as I did the full day of excellent sales I was open at Hershey a few months back. Needless to say when Tom Mack says SHOW TIME, I'll be back, and I told him so. There is something about shaking off the confinement and Honey-do's of the Holidays that has always made this show a good one. (He'll do it again in June!!!) COVER CAR IS EBAY PURCHASE This cute picture of the old Buick on a ferry is a good one, but we'll never know  what state that prestate number is from. I think the photo has character, unlike the Buick that would pollute the air, there is a shovel in the railing to clean up Horse exhaust. You can also see in the picture that the weight of the car is breaking the boards on the deck of the ferry. I paid $8.00 for this on ebay, I believe you can buy anything there if you just keep looking. I just couldn't do it. Keith will return soon, in a conversation with him this week he is quite busy too. Meanwhile I want to thank all of you who took me up on the FYI ad program this month, there are paid for ads here now as far reaching as Feb. 2002. Still the way to bring up the number of stories and pages I am allowed to run is to find more paid advertising. I know many of you do your part.
