EDITORS REPORT: THIS MONTHS COVER SHOT - Not long after he signed up to TNS, Ian Slade , of Redmond Washington, told me about this months cover shot. This is what he handed me with the photo at the convention this summer. "This photograph, taken in the summer of 1926, depicts my paternal grandmother at age five standing on the running board of the family's 1924 or 1925 Chevrolet (not sure on the exact year, but the car was pretty new when the picture was made). Although grandma doesn't recognize the exact location today, we suspect it may have been taken on her uncles farm near Kent, Washington, about ten miles southeast of Seattle. She has been a resident of Seattle since her birth in 1921." Great photo Ian, thanks for sharing.
