Brucklay, a simple two-platformed passing place on the Fraserburgh branch, served a small community to the north of Maud Junction (indeed the entire area wsa known as Brucklay and Maud Junction was known as Brucklay until opening of the Fraserburgh branch).
The remains of one of the station platforms can be found alongwith the station building, now in use as a private residence. To the south of Brucklay Station the cycle-path is diverted onto side roads to reach Maud Junction, the trackbed being impassible south of Brucklay.
