Strichen Station was a typical example of GNSR "Stone Built" Stations, the building surviving today as an excellent example
of this common GNSR design. Interestingly the Station Clock remains on the outside of the building. Two platforms formerly
existed here, both survive although one is mostly hidden in the undergrowth. Strichen itself has grown substantially since the
demise of the railway
