Cults Station

Cults was (and still is) one of the major suburbs surrounding Aberdeen. The station building, although similar to the standard GNSR design, is clearly larger than the standard examples to be seen at Pitfodels & Murtle stations. A small goods yard was also provided here, however this closed on 15 June 1964. The large station building survives in use as a workshop and both platforms can be found. Interestingly enough Cults station still has posts for the station nameboards on one platform.
