Dee Street (in the centre of Banchory) was a very short wooden halt situated high up on top of a high embankment in the centre of Banchory, only 1/2 a mile from the larger station of Banchory. Although the halt was popular due to it's more convenient location, it's lack of even basic provisions (like a shelter) coupled with the fact that visitors had to climb a large set of wooden steps up the side of the embankment to reach the halt did not serve to encourage geat custom. Both the station and the embankments surrounding it have been removed without many traces, indeed present-day visitors need to travel west along a small road that once ran parallel to the embankments to find serious remains of even the earthworks near this station. The approximate location of the station is beside the town's Tennis Courts, opposite the Amusement Park and large playing fields.
