Dufftown Station survives in a rationalised form of itself as the terminus of the Keith & Dufftown Railway Association line from Keith Town. It still has a run-round loop though this is occupied by various items of rolling stock. One platform survives in use though the other platform can be easily seen. The former goods yard to the west of the passenger station has been lifted. To the east of the station is the Fiddach Viaduct which carries the railway over a distillery site, and just past this is the site of the former junction for the Mortlach Branch, which led to two distilleries nearby and closed in the 1960s.

Goods traffic to Dufftown was retained until 1 October 1985, after which the line was kept for BR Charter excursions.
