Banff Bridge Station probably had for most of it's life to contend with the better-placed Banff Harbour Station on the branch from Tillynaught Junction. Still, even though Banff Bridge was away from the town on the opposite side of the bay, the journey to Aberdeen would have been made much quicker by using Banff Bridge. After closure to goods traffic Banff Bridge passed into private ownership and survives in perfect condition, with the heads of old gas platform lamps still to be seen in the former station. The trackbed around the station survives in almost untouched condition, and can be followed to the south of the station.
