About Me
I am a cross-breed between a Chihuahua and a Dachshund. That makes me sort of a mutt, but I don't like to be called that. I had a happy childhood. I loved running with my boy. Out in the front yard, we would race around and around until he got tired. At night, I would sleep at the foot of his bed to keep him safe.

Then it all changed. A few years ago, while patrolling the premises, a car backed out of a driveway across the street and started speeding up the road. As it slowed down in front of my house, I feared for my boy's safety. Paying no heed to my own personal safety, I raced out and tried to stop the car. Before I knew what was happening, I was hit.

I severely broke my hip. The doctors said that there wasn't much that they could do. My family didn't want to pay thousands of dollars on experimental treatment. It would just have to heal. Over time, I became able to walk around and spend time with my boy. I never was able to run again, though.

Unfortunately, through the lack of exercise, I got fat. So I starting to move about more and make my hip stronger. I found that I could still run pretty fast if I pulled left leg up (the painful one) and hobble. I began to grow thinner and resumed a more normal life.

Today, I live in a bigger house with a bigger yard. Each day, along with my colleagues Dagwood and Ashby, we patrol and keep the peace around the neighborhood. Fortunately, the house does not sit on a public road, so none of us are in danger of getting hit.

What do I like to do?
Well, other than putting the fear of God in delivery men, I enjoy sun bathing on the porch. I like to sun bathe on my boys bed. Sometimes, I'll go out in the yard and sun bathe. Also, as I'm sun bathing, I prefer to my neck massaged. My hip injury keeps me from getting that spot right behind my ear.

My Favorite Foods
I enjoy any and all table scraps, but salad and spaghetti (cut, not stringy) are my favorites. I don't take to the so-called "dog food." Of course if your not very well brought up, like Ashby, one makes do with what you have. Occasionally, I will spend a few moments savoring the contents of a newly-ripped open garbage bag, leaving the choice pieces for my boy.
