The Nirvana Trading Tree
The Rules
1. The tree will be designed in the following fashion: The show(s) to be distributed will be collected by the three (3) main distributors (Barry Lajnwand, Stephen Coe, and Derek Evanoff). These said persons shall distribute those show(s) to up to five (5) persons each. These persons will distribute the said show(s) to up to three (3) persons each. These persons will distribute the said show(s) to up to another three (3) persons each. These persons will distribute the said show(s) to up to two (2) persons each. These persons will distribute the said show(s) to up to another two (2) persons each. These persons will distribute the said show(s) to up to yet another two (2) persons each. These said persons shall distribute the said show(s) to one (1) person and the show(s) will be continued to be distributed in this fashion until total distribution is completed. To make it simpler the show(s) will be distributed in this way: Distributor > 5 > 3 > 3 > 2 > 2 > 2 > 1 > 1> 1 > 1 etc. The distributors will divide the United States (and the rest of the globe) up into distributing regions. Barry Lajnwand will distribute to the Eastern U.S. (and to the rest of the globe if necessary). This region will include the following states: Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachussetts, Rhose Island, New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, W. Virginia, N. Carolina, S. Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, Kentucky, Tennessee, and Ohio. Derek Evanoff wil distribute to the Midwestern U.S. This region will consist of the following states: Michigan, Indiana, Wisconsin, Illinois, Missouri, Arkansas, Lousiana, Minnesota, Iowa, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, and Texas. Stephen Coe will distribute to the Western region of the U.S. This region will consist of the following states: Montana, Wyoming, Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona, Utah, Idaho, Nevada, California, Oregon, Washington, Alaska, and Hawaii.
2. Tree distribution can only be made in two fashions: regular 1:1 show trading or at-cost trading. If the first course is taken to distribute down the Trading tree then each party will be responsible for their own shipping costs. If the latter course is taken then the person getting the discs at cost must provide the actual blank discs (providing money for the person distributing the discs to them is strictly forbidden), the cost of shipping the discs to their distributor, and the cost of sending the discs back to them (if both parties are in the U.S. it should be exactly $ 3.55 for priority mail with Delivery of Confirmation). The exchange of money for anything other than shipping expenses is in direct violation of the rules of The Nirvana Trading Tree and will result in automatic termination from the Tree [and possibly life and/or limb if you live near someone not so nice ;-) ].
3. All tree distributions whether 1:1 or at-cost must be made with brand name CD-R's i.e. Verbatim Datalife Plus, TDK, Sony, Imation, and Maxell (please try to restrict usage of Memorex...they are brand name but lowest of the low). NEVER USE CHEAP DISCS OF ANY KIND!
4. ABSOLUTELY NO SALES OF ANY KIND (in case you didn't bother reading through all of rule #2).
5. Correct Generation info must be kept by all those participating in The Nirvana Trading Tree. NO EXCEPTIONS AND NO EXCUSES!!!
6. If you are a member of any Bad Trader's List of any kind you are not eligible to participate. If you break any rules of The Nirvana Trading Tree you will be placed on The Nirvana Trading Tree Bad Trader's List. NO FAVORS TO ANYONE!!!
7. By joining this Trading Tree you must agree to allow the use of your personal information provided when you join (meaning that other members will be able to see your home address and other such important info...the page with that info will be password protected though).
8. The shows distributed by this Trading Tree will be decided upon by the members of the tree through the following method: The three main distributors will choose thirty shows they deem worth distribution. The members of the Trading Tree will vote on which show they would like to see distributed most (one vote per member). The top three vote-getting shows will be the ones distributed.
9. The Nirvana Trading Tree should be a fun way to build up a collection of Nirvana shows. If it is not it will be your duty to speak up on ways for making the Trading Tree a better experience.
