My 175 program doesn't work (then it does but doesn't) on the linux boxes. I actually have to do stuff at work now. what the hell is that all about. And there's that thing. That sucks. That sucks big time. I should stop thinking. thinking is bad. But I think (there i go thinking again) I'll be better off taking a little break. I had my highest GPA since freshman year last quarter. I felt good about my life last quarter. I felt I really had it together. This quarter has been nothing like it. I go to around 1/2 my classes. I come home and slack. I go to the labs and slack. I sit at work, and uhh. work sometimes. but most of the time is spent slacking. So I need some time. Some time to get myself back into gear. Back in to bad ass mode. back in to the robert I want to be. ahhhhhhhhhhh. Maybe I'll just go A+ or MCP Maybe more Counterstrike. That's stopped me from thinking lately. maybe I shouldn't say bad things are happening all around, because they're not. Lots of good things are happenning to me. Lots. I just finished watching the first half of a japanese horror movie called "the ring." what sucks is that there is no english subtitles. it's in japanese with chinese subtitles, damn commies. anyway, i heard about this movie awhile back, it was compared to the blair witch project though i think this movie came out a few years before blair witch. Synopsis: A newspaper reporter Sun Joo finds the recent death of her niece, Sang Mee, very peculiar. She finds out that Sang Mee's three other friends who were on same vacation died on the same day with the same condition- heart failure. She performs her own investigation on the death of the young girls and finds a video tape in the hotel room where the girls had stayed...(from a website) Basically the video tape has some freaky shit on it, its short video. immediately after watching it, you get a phone. i think the person on the phone saids you will die in one week unless you show this video take to some other sucker or something like that. also for some odd reason after viewing the video tape, if you have your picture taken your face comes out all blury and shit... basically saying you going to die i guess. the background music has a great effect in the movie, it reminds me of the "nightmare on elm street" music. i think this movie would be alot freaker if there was english subtitle, so i would have a better idea as to what was going on. i think i'll watch the rest of this movie later tonight to scare the shit out of me. i haven't seen a good horror movie in a while. It comes with the default groups "general, Family, friends, Co-workers." which is just like AIm. (I think. Don't test my knowldge on aim.) And the the chat window, is also AIM style. It does retain history though if you close the chat window and re-open it, which is nice. but also at the same time bad if you want to conceal information.(what?) The bad parts (if those aren't considered bad to you already) are that 1)it's in your taskbar as ICQ#/First Name, Last Name. 2) when you add users, they show up under first/last name rather than nickname. Other than that, it's pretty sweet since neticq doesn't work anymore (not that I could ever get that thing to work in the 1st place). They say it's A Time Limited Free Alpha Version. right.
