Alright, The Real Sweet 16 is upon us and it looks like it's going to be f'ing crazy out in the east with upsets possible at every bracket.

But that's just it. it Looks like a possible upset, but the west statistically has the better chance of there being upsets. every bracket but the kings-utah was 2-2 in the regular season. every bracket in the east was 3-1 favoring the higher seed in all but the sixers-celtics (sixers up 3-1).

I just got the greatest idea ever last night. I buy a used Classics books (correct edition). I gut that book by ripping off it's spine and cover. I gut my book by ripping off it's spine and cover. I glue the new cover on the old insides. I return it. I score big points.

Today is the last day to return books, making this deal impossible. And i probably would have screwed up pretty badly gutting the books.

Revelation :: Yesterday my boss gave me a book. It's a Cold Fusion 4.0 Application Development book. She said she had 2, so i could have this one. I was happy of course, and I didn't think about what really just happenned until this morning. I was staring at the book and it came to me. ONCE AGAIN, I NOW HAVE THE WRONG EDITION OF A BOOK. woohoo. Classes, and work, I never get anything correct. haha. Cold fusion is up to 5.0 now and I just got a book covering CF 4.0. WOOOOO.

Classics : faggot put the wrong edition on the syllabus. I didn't bother looking for a picture of the edition i was buying (95). So don't go assuming your teacher has the brain capacity to put the right date (2k) on a syllabus, ok?
ecs175 : the teacher had an old edition (97). He passed around his books, I looked and copied isbn, I buy, I find out it's the wrong one. Correct was 2001. (*** this is a who cares case ***)
ecs188 : I don't want to buy the book, so i checked it out at the library. This one's 94. the class uses 2000. This one's probably the most important. I have to write chapter outlines for 5 of the chapters, and I'm going to take a wild guess here and say that some of the chapters have been changed up in 6 years.

I downloaded and installed icq 2002a @ work.
here are all the new changes That I can see.
1) A way cooler startup screen.
2) the damn icq window is on my taskbar and I can't get rid of it. Sort of like AIM. Minimized, it stays in your system tray. Open, it shows up on the taskbar and systemtray. why? At least let me put you back on the system tray only.

tony hawk 3 is on the warez circuits. Somebody get it.

Looks like I'll be buying about $220+ worth of books for 1 class this quarter. 1 class (ecs178) that I'll probably get a C in with or without the books. ugh. owned so bad.

Then there's about $40 in classics books ( i think. no idea)
And $40 more in 188 books.

so I think my grand total will be about $300+. This is for the quarter where I'm taking the least amount of units i've ever taken in a quarter at school. So you know that $400 I saved by declaring part time status? All that cash = books now.

I walked into my Chinese class today to realize it is for people who have taken classes already. So the teacher starts talking and I am screwed. But did I walk then? NOooooooo! I stay and hope I can learn something from it all but halfway through the class he interviews people on what they did on Spring break in Manderin. Me knowing 0 I bail out on class when he gets one person away from me. Before I did that we were supposed to talk in groups about the break in Chinese but since I had no idea what to say I used my own language and the rest of the group gut funny faces. Boy did I rock. Skipped the first day of my psych class. Fun for the first day. When I got back dropped it right away.

Nuking home run fruit pies makes a good food, great. Warm and tasty. On the other hand Korean ramen is way too spicy for me. I drained half a 2 liter of Hawaiian Punch to cool me off and it did not help cure the burning.

Cool the formatting is cool now.

Icq 2002a came out over the break. You'd think they'd run out of crap to add that we don't need.

first impressions :: ecs178 is in a cool room. the entire lecture is video taped so if we miss a class or need to review the lecture, we can check it out and watch it anytime we want at hart hall. cool. I guess.

I may be changnig the script here to movatbletype because it can import newspro news and is ACTUALLY UPDATED MORE THAN ONCE A MILENIUM. i think it might not have plugin support though, so you get what's in the package and nothing else. everybody will lose their accounts if I do change it. If I do, I'll post more info. But, uh, don't expect anything.

The reports are true. I have broken up with britney. Datafox's work schedule for her was keeping her away from me all day except from 11pm - 7am. And that's the time I usually play Stickball with JC, Joey, Lance, and that other guy who's name I can't remember. God I love stickball. Sometimes we play with JC's stick instead of my stick. His stick is just way too long compared to mines. I have trouble holding it. He tells me to choke up, but man I don't like doing that. I usually hold my stick way towards the bottom. I think it really lets me hit more homeruns because I get so much of a better grip on it.
