But my reason for greater than 24 fps rates is that the exact time your eye samples 2 frames might occur when 1 only 1 frame has been rendered. a number explanation: Say your eye samples once at 0.001 and again at 0.002. say the game updates at 0.0009 and 0.0021. your eye misses a frame, and the game looks funky. But what if the game updated more times a second and updated at 0.001 0.0011 0.0012 0.0013 etc. everytime your eye Does sample, you'll see a new frame and most likely will see pure smoothness. ehhhhhh. <Bruce> : Why Plates Are Better Than Bowls
When eating dinner with family it is "correct" to use bowls. I think it is a Chinese thing. I do not get it but then I like using plates for the most part. When going out to places or eating at home I would prefer plates to bowls as a whole.
Bowls have a great advantage where you can shovel food into your mouth faster, soak your food in gravy and bring food to your mouth instead of bringing your mouth to the food on a plate.
However bowls make it fairly impossible to cut foods, not like I do that. I just pick up my meat and that a bite, but I digress. Plates also hold more food and if you are able to pick it up and lick everything off of it Like in buffets they give you plates to hold more crap and in doing so you can add a lot more stuff together so you can mix it. Like at Hometown Buffet I like mixing French fries, mashed potatoes, gravy, ribs, fish sticks and some veggies. Thanks to the plate I and eat one of the most horrible mix of food ever.
The only exception are some big bowls I have here. I can put in a lice chicken breast in there (haha I typed breast) and still get a ton of gravy in there. Like magic. Also I love soup bowls since they hold a lot more than regular bowls and have a handle.
In closing in the majority of cases plates > bowls and I do not think we should make greater use of them vs the small ones I find normally.

Bejeweled: Yea this game has been out for a long long time but now I have the chance to play it for a real extended period. The game is kinda like Pokemon Puzzle or some old Yoshi game. You switch blocks around in order to get at least 3 in a row and score combos and points. A real fun game that that is quick to play, easy to get into and offers massive replay value like Tetris. Graphics are awesome if you have a OS5 device or a Clie.
Rating: B+
Bookworm: Another great game from Popcap. I think it is their best offering. A Boggle type of game where you are given a bunch of letters and create words from them varying in points by the color of the blocks or the letter. This game is real fun. The game offers a lot of fun in that you have to use your mind to get words together and you can be proud to get a high score and last a long time and it enables you to question their choice in words to log in.
Rating: A
Seven Seas: Eh it is an okay game. You sail a ship around until you kill all the other ships sailing around there. Either you must get them to ram into an island or shoot cannons. I think it is simple and some cunning stat is used to win the game but I do not feel it is able to hold my attention for more than a few levels. I do not feel it is possible for me to care to finish the game.

Atomica: A good game where a person tries to get 4 'atoms' together to make a 'molecule'. Quick to play and easy to learn. It is not as quickly addictive as Bejeweled but it is good. I play it from time to time. It gets a little overwhelming at times for me but I continue to go back to it.

Mummy Maze: A game that is heavy on strategy and gives you unlimited retries. Your job is to run away from the mummy by trapping it in corners and get to the exit. All that strat seems to make me not like it as much and the lack of time trials makes it less urgent but if you like to take time on moves then go for it. I think the best part is that the default names on the score board are those of the main characters from one of my favorite shows now, Stargate SG-1. However I question the fact that Teal'c is ranked just above Fraiser and under Jackson. 4th in line? No way I think he should be second, at least.

Alchemy: Uh blah. I do not care for it. You make gold by putting together symbols and colors combinations. It is good strat puzzle but not for me. I do not like the work involved and you do not see the fruits of your labor as quickly. It does not hold my interest at all. I played one game and quit.

All the games above except Bookworm are part of the Popcap games pack. That is 30 bucks. Individually they are 15 each like Bookworm. If you like to play a lot or are stupid, buy it like me. I like a number as you can see here so I bought them.
NBA Live 2003: NO MING YAO. It sucks. Steals happen too often, no 5 on 5 street ball and NO MING MAN! Reality wise. I bet it is fun for those who care about basket ball sims at all. Me I do not care. I get pissy when guys miss or I get crap stolen from me. I think the game is ok. Playing by yourself would suck. You need some one else there to get real joy. I should have bought 2k3. I would have saved 5 bucks. I can not appreciate the extra powers a person gets in the game. Oh yea gamestop guys. THANKS FOR ALL YOUR HELP. They gave me no tips and they do not have a option for me to test the game. Very helpful. Why did I ever buy from those bastards anyways? I AM STUPID!

Warcraft 3: The Frozen Throne: Good game, good exp. I think they have given players a very good upgrade. Ample amount of heroes, items and the missions are pretty good. Problems are just as ample while you get new heroes and units and nice missions the exp is 35 bucks msrp. In my opinion, NOT WORTH IT! The story also mirrors Starcraft in a couple of ways. Lazy writers. The Pandaren Brew master dresses in chink stuff but has no good chink accent. Heck they did a Japnee one for the Blade master why not a chinky one for the Brew master? Personally I hate the bad guys winning twice in a row in Blizzard games. I fought hard for the good to win, now that is wasted. Also I hate it so much I must mention it again, 35 bucks?!?!?!1 What were they thinking?!?!?! Greedy bastards. I think it should have been at most 25. There are only a few CG scenes and the missions are fairly short. Not a good use of 35 bucks but unless you are a super fan or mega fan pay the 35. For all of us, wait for it to be 10 or so.

Matrix Reloaded: IMAX Edition: 15 bucks??!1 What was I thinking. It looks good and all on there but 15?!?! Man I was stoned. it is 4AM now and I kinda do not want to write any more so i will say save your cash unless you are Bill Gates and can rent out the whole place. Pluses: big place so I saw all the details so well, reserved seats so no need for lines and no one sat to the left of me so the arm rest was all mine. Oh yea EP paid the parking of 3 an hour. MADNESS. I guess I will owe him next time.

I slept almost all day SUn. I was so very very drained when I woke up DOWNSTAIRS. Yes I fell asleep upstairs and woke up downstairs. I have no memory of how it happened. Well when I woke up I was up for about an hour then slept again still feeling very very weak. I stayed up only after catching some Simpson rerun and more tv. S;eeping for over 10 hours is wrong. But what is most wrong is I still felt like crap.

<Bruce> : Why Plates Are Better Than Bowls
When eating dinner with family it is "correct" to use bowls. I think it is a Chinese thing. I do not get it but then I like using plates for the most part. When going out to places or eating at home I would prefer plates to bowls as a whole.
Bowls have a great advantage where you can shovel food into your mouth faster, soak your food in gravy and bring food to your mouth instead of bringing your mouth to the food on a plate.
However bowls make it fairly impossible to cut foods, not like I do that. I just pick up my meat and that a bite, but I digress. Plates also hold more food and if you are able to pick it up and lick everything off of it Like in buffets they give you plates to hold more crap and in doing so you can add a lot more stuff together so you can mix it. Like at Hometown Buffet I like mixing French fries, mashed potatoes, gravy, ribs, fish sticks and some veggies. Thanks to the plate I and eat one of the most horrible mix of food ever.
The only exception are some big bowls I have here. I can put in a lice chicken breast in there (haha I typed breast) and still get a ton of gravy in there. Like magic. Also I love soup bowls since they hold a lot more than regular bowls and have a handle.
In closing in the majority of cases plates > bowls and I do not think we should make greater use of them vs the small ones I find normally.

Bejeweled: Yea this game has been out for a long long time but now I have the chance to play it for a real extended period. The game is kinda like Pokemon Puzzle or some old Yoshi game. You switch blocks around in order to get at least 3 in a row and score combos and points. A real fun game that that is quick to play, easy to get into and offers massive replay value like Tetris. Graphics are awesome if you have a OS5 device or a Clie.
Rating: B+
Bookworm: Another great game from Popcap. I think it is their best offering. A Boggle type of game where you are given a bunch of letters and create words from them varying in points by the color of the blocks or the letter. This game is real fun. The game offers a lot of fun in that you have to use your mind to get words together and you can be proud to get a high score and last a long time and it enables you to question their choice in words to log in.
Rating: A
Seven Seas: Eh it is an okay game. You sail a ship around until you kill all the other ships sailing around there. Either you must get them to ram into an island or shoot cannons. I think it is simple and some cunning stat is used to win the game but I do not feel it is able to hold my attention for more than a few levels. I do not feel it is possible for me to care to finish the game.

Atomica: A good game where a person tries to get 4 'atoms' together to make a 'molecule'. Quick to play and easy to learn. It is not as quickly addictive as Bejeweled but it is good. I play it from time to time. It gets a little overwhelming at times for me but I continue to go back to it.

Mummy Maze: A game that is heavy on strategy and gives you unlimited retries. Your job is to run away from the mummy by trapping it in corners and get to the exit. All that strat seems to make me not like it as much and the lack of time trials makes it less urgent but if you like to take time on moves then go for it. I think the best part is that the default names on the score board are those of the main characters from one of my favorite shows now, Stargate SG-1. However I question the fact that Teal'c is ranked just above Fraiser and under Jackson. 4th in line? No way I think he should be second, at least.

Alchemy: Uh blah. I do not care for it. You make gold by putting together symbols and colors combinations. It is good strat puzzle but not for me. I do not like the work involved and you do not see the fruits of your labor as quickly. It does not hold my interest at all. I played one game and quit.

All the games above except Bookworm are part of the Popcap games pack. That is 30 bucks. Individually they are 15 each like Bookworm. If you like to play a lot or are stupid, buy it like me. I like a number as you can see here so I bought them.
NBA Live 2003: NO MING YAO. It sucks. Steals happen too often, no 5 on 5 street ball and NO MING MAN! Reality wise. I bet it is fun for those who care about basket ball sims at all. Me I do not care. I get pissy when guys miss or I get crap stolen from me. I think the game is ok. Playing by yourself would suck. You need some one else there to get real joy. I should have bought 2k3. I would have saved 5 bucks. I can not appreciate the extra powers a person gets in the game. Oh yea gamestop guys. THANKS FOR ALL YOUR HELP. They gave me no tips and they do not have a option for me to test the game. Very helpful. Why did I ever buy from those bastards anyways? I AM STUPID!

Warcraft 3: The Frozen Throne: Good game, good exp. I think they have given players a very good upgrade. Ample amount of heroes, items and the missions are pretty good. Problems are just as ample while you get new heroes and units and nice missions the exp is 35 bucks msrp. In my opinion, NOT WORTH IT! The story also mirrors Starcraft in a couple of ways. Lazy writers. The Pandaren Brew master dresses in chink stuff but has no good chink accent. Heck they did a Japnee one for the Blade master why not a chinky one for the Brew master? Personally I hate the bad guys winning twice in a row in Blizzard games. I fought hard for the good to win, now that is wasted. Also I hate it so much I must mention it again, 35 bucks?!?!?!1 What were they thinking?!?!?! Greedy bastards. I think it should have been at most 25. There are only a few CG scenes and the missions are fairly short. Not a good use of 35 bucks but unless you are a super fan or mega fan pay the 35. For all of us, wait for it to be 10 or so.

Matrix Reloaded: IMAX Edition: 15 bucks??!1 What was I thinking. It looks good and all on there but 15?!?! Man I was stoned. it is 4AM now and I kinda do not want to write any more so i will say save your cash unless you are Bill Gates and can rent out the whole place. Pluses: big place so I saw all the details so well, reserved seats so no need for lines and no one sat to the left of me so the arm rest was all mine. Oh yea EP paid the parking of 3 an hour. MADNESS. I guess I will owe him next time.
Rating: C for IMAX experience. B+ for the movie itself.

<ep> : we got there around 5:15 for the 5:40 show but it was sold out. goddamnit. me thinking(wishfuly thinking) it was a flat rate. hey imax has its own parking, it has to be a flat rate. im just dumb. well, so we stay for the 8:30 show, and 5 hours later, i was screwed out of an imax ticket for robert.
on imax's website, they claim the screen is 6 stories high, they lie. it's more like 3 stories high. i would estimate the imax screen could hold 6 or 8 of the regular movie screen.
Best things about imax, because its so expensive, no whiney kids, annoying teenagers, cell phone bastards and all those other bastards who deserve to die. i probably wont ever go back there again, screw the parking and f u jeebus.
<ep> : regular price for crappy movie is 9.50 i think. they are showing bugs 3d and you get 3d glasses. i would watch that (not pay). too bad they only have one screen so we can hop to see another movie.

I slept almost all day SUn. I was so very very drained when I woke up DOWNSTAIRS. Yes I fell asleep upstairs and woke up downstairs. I have no memory of how it happened. Well when I woke up I was up for about an hour then slept again still feeling very very weak. I stayed up only after catching some Simpson rerun and more tv. S;eeping for over 10 hours is wrong. But what is most wrong is I still felt like crap.
