I haven't even left yet for my trip and I'm already having problems. My car that is soon to be sold is presently in the shop with people trying to figure out what's wrong with the transmission. I'm supposed to start my trip up North on Monday, but we'll see if that happens. That also means there are roughly four weeks left before I leave for Bolivia. Not much time for getting excited though. Also having a hard time finding a site to host this that is 1) bannerless, 2) accessible via ftp and 3) somewhat reliable. No luck so far. Minor setbacks, but I'll keep you posted on both problems.

i leave in close to five weeks. not sure if i'll be able to keep this blog updated regularly, but i'm going to try to. to say the least, i'm beginning to get excited and am becoming quite anxious about leaving. i'm in the middle of packing things up, acquiring a couple of new things, selling off some old stuff, throwing some things away, giving others away, etc. on top of all that i'm still working and trying to spend time and coordinate spending time with a ton of people.

i'll begin my trek up north and back in about two weeks. looks like i'll be making stops in jacksonville, fl; myrtle beach, south carolina; henderson, north carolina; urbana, illinois; indianapolis, indiana; hamilton, new york, front royal, virginia; washington, d.c.; huntington, new york; and who knows where else. hopefully i'll get to see as many people as i can.

there's not much else of worth to say, but as soon as there is, i'll make an effort to communicate it through this blog. see you soon.
