Christmas 1992
Wrapping paper, ribbons, boxes and
bows
Presents all wrapped, in heaps
and in rows
It all looks so pretty, shiny and
bright
Ready and waiting for Santa’s big
night
Picked out with love, wrapped with
great care
So all, in the joy of the season
can share
Some are surprises, some just what
were asked for
As much a part of the season as
a wreath on the door.
Christmas 1994
It’s time for singing songs of cheer
The most joyous season of year
Family and friends communicate
Making plans to celebrate
Who’ll cook what and where to eat
(They’ll end up with enough to
feed the fleet.)
The tree is standing shiny and bright
Ornaments, lights, a wondrous sight
This is the season of love and
joy
No matter the age of girl or boy.
Dear Santa
Santa, Santa, please stop here
Please bring us some Christmas
cheer
We've been good, as good can be
Please leave presents 'neath our
tree
Make them big or even small
We don't care; we'll take them
all.
Santa, Santa please stop here
Please bring us some Christmas
cheer
We'll take toys, or maybe watches
Rolex, Benrus or even Swatches
Chocolate candy by the pound
In pretty boxes square or round
Anything you'd like to bring
Necklace, bracelet, dinner ring.
Please, please Santa, Please stop
here
Bring us, please, some Christmas
cheer.
