22. BELGIUM - Je Garderai Pour Toi
Nathalie Paque was born in Rocourt (Liege) on 11th May 1977. She released her first single at the age of 11 and represented France in ESC 1989. Since then, nine singles and two LPs have been released in Belgium.
In 1992, Nathalie reached the top-10 of the French OGAE Selection. This year, her song I will save for you won the Belgian Selection which involved 14 songs voted by a Belgian and an international jury.

Nathalie was born in Rocourt, Belgium, on 11th May 1977, making her a Taurus. Her father is a Belgian electrician and her mother a French secretary. She has a solid grounding in entertainment, having been trained in singing and dancing since her childhood. This yound lady from the Low Countries has talent and feeling in abundance. Her likes and loves are horses, cats, Michael Jackson and J.J. Goldman.
Nathalie has succesfully collaborated with the composers and producers Max Amphoux, G.G. Candy, Guy Matteoni, Sylvain Lebel and Co., who have stated: "When we take Nathalie into our hearts and she sings the words and music we have written, we can see she is small, but we feel a great deal smaller". It was when Nathalie represented France in the Eurovision Song Contest on 6th May 1989 woth her song "J' ai vole' la vie".
Training as a perfomer:
-Dancing classes from the age of 6 onwards.
-Trained in modern dancing with Rick Odums, Director of the Ecole Danse de Paris.
-Singing lessons since the age of 9.
