04. CYPRUS - San Fevgis
Andri Georgiou was born in 1984 in Larnaca. Since a little child Andri has been singing as a soloist at school. She is taking lessons in singing, piano, harmony and solfege. Andri has participated in festivals and song contests and her OGAESC entry "San fevgis" marks the beginning of her collaboration with the composer Michalis Antoniou.
Michalis Antoniou was born in Nicosia on 04.09.1977. His musical talent was apparent already at his school years and he has won numerous prizes in various national song competitions. Two of his songs, "Ah tzie mirizi anixi" and "Pios erotas glykos", sung by George Gabriel, lyrics by Christos Christofi, became very popular among people of all ages. Michalis is now in his final year of studies at Europa College, from where he is expected to graduate with a dual major degree in Mass Media.
Christos Christofi was born in Famagusta on 04.11.1967. He began writing poems at an early age. Ten years ago he wrote his first lyrics. He has collaborated with talented musicians and many of his lyrics have been featured on scores by popular Cypriot entertainers. Poetry and lyrics are of a great importance to him and he has published a collection entitled Anazitisis.
