23. KAZAKHSTAN - Snjek V Pustinje
A' Studio are together since 1982, when they started to accompany for the famous Kazakhstan singer Roza Rymbayeva. But as a group they formed in May of 1987. The first name of their project was Almata. For a long time their so-called "visit card" was the song Julia, which was famous in all former USSR. When Alla Pugachova had heard phonograms of two A' Studio compositions, the group, which was just arising in the country of wide steppes and high mountains, there and then she wished to meet with the young capable musicians. From that moment the biography of A' Studio took a new countdown.
For some years they worked in the "Song theatre of Alla Pugachova", now they work independently. They recorded the LP Soldat ljubvi (Soldier of love) and participated in festivals in America and Japan. They have also recorded songs in English in London. A' Studio has many admirers in Kazakhstan and Russia.
Their OGAESC entry "Snow in desert" is included in their album Grjeshnaya strast (Sinful passion).
