The Industrial & Production Engineering Department was started in
the year 1980-81 with a view to educate students in Industrial
Engineering and train them to be the pillars of Indian industry to
complete with global scenario. The degree can lead to an
M.Tech. in Production Engg , Production Management, Industrial
Management , or an M.B.A.
The department faculty are well qualified and experienced. They are specialized in different fields of Industrial & Production Engg. like Machine Tool Design, Plant layout & Design, Production, Management, Industrial Engg. Etc. |

The Department has very good laboratory facilities with advanced equipments to expose the students towards the latest techniques in measurement and analysis. 1. Metrology & Material Testing (MMT) lab 2. Industrial Engineering lab. The Department has its own computer center with CAD and other software exclusively for I&P students. The department also owns a library with 600 books to help the students. |
