The Department was started during the year 1962 in view of educating students and training them in all fields the department offers courses to train the base module students in the art of servicing, maintenance and trouble shooting to impart enough supervisory skills to the students with sound knowledge. |

The department faculty are well qualified and experienced . To enrich the knowledge of the students frequent seminars are held. The department has a well established and planned laboratory with different machinery mainly lathes, compressors, I.C engines, machines for testing hardness like Rockwell and Brinell's, an air blower, governors etc. It has a separate labs on smiting, forging and casting. the department has separate CAD/CAM laboratory with around ten computers. It has a separate library around 700 books on various subjects which help the students. |
