Writing Is My
Addiction
With a desire to
learn about everything,
reading introduced me to new worlds and people. This made me realize
how much
more there was to learn. Even today, when a good author touches me and
makes me
feel a part of the story, I seek more of his or her writings.
I wanted, no needed,
to write. While
letting my imagination roam free, I write in several genres. I read and
join
with others in critique groups in a continuing effort to better my
command of
the craft. For story lines I draw upon my own experiences and those of
people
I've met along the way who have shared their stories with me.
It is my hope that
readers enjoy
participating in the lives of the characters I create.
I have written two
novels, The
AMBASSADOR and THAT DAMNED IRISHMAN, both adventure sagas,
and am
now working on the third, as yet untitled.
About Me
I had a variety of
occupations which
included counterintelligence agent, salesman, owner/operator of a
lumber &
building materials company, buyer for and eventually vice president of
a chain
of home centers, estimator/buyer for building contractors and a
writer/contract
editor for a Las Vegas newspaper catering to the entertainment industry
and the
Performing Arts. In between, I wrote and sculpted. Now, I write full
time.
