Editorial Opinions: Steve is the behind-the-scenes force of many of the Wilkinsons songs. He wrote or cowrote a majority of the songs they have released, ranging in message from that of 26 Cents to The Only Rose, but always an optimistic and good-willed view. He has a subtel way of forcing some messages into words, and more than once the lyrical content has impressed me the more I stop to think about it.
